What are the fruits of the spirit?
The fruits of the spirit are mentioned in Bible, no livro de Gálatas, capítulo 5, verses 22 and 23. They are nine virtues that are produced in the life of a Christian who is in communion with the Spirit Saint. These fruits are love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.
Love
The first fruit of the spirit is love, which is the basis for all the others. The love mentioned here is not just a feeling, but rather an attitude of care, compassion and sacrifice for others. It's love that motivates us to act for the benefit of others, even when it's not convenient for us.

Kindness
A amabilidade é um fruto do espírito que se manifesta em atitudes gentis, bondosas e prestativas para com os outros. É a capacidade de tratar as pessoas com respeito e consideração, mesmo quando somos tratados de forma injusta. A amabilidade reflete o caráter de Cristo em nós.

Meekness
A mansidão é outra virtude que é produzida em nós pelo Espírito Santo. É a humildade e a suavidade de espírito que nos leva a tratar os outros com gentileza e compaixão. A mansidão nos ajuda a lidar com as situações difíceis com calma e serenidade, sem perder a paz interior.
Self-control
The last fruit of the spirit is self-control, which is the ability to control our emotions, desires and impulses. It is the ability to resist temptation and to act in a balanced and sensible way in all situations. Self-control helps us to live a disciplined and God-centered life.
